How to get your real estate broker license in Nevada

Requirements:

  • 64 total college credits: 15 must be in business-related subjects, 6 in real estate law, 3 in Nevada broker management, and 3 in Nevada broker appraisal. The balance of credits can be on any topic.
  • A broker must have a minimum of two years of experience as a licensee.
  • To satisfy the application requirements, a broker salesperson may use only college credits and the subsequent broker qualifying coursework.

Real estate broker qualifying education at Key Realty School is for students who need to meet the educational requirements of broker licensing in Nevada.

Available programs

We offer pre-licensing/qualifying education, broker exam preparation, and broker management and appraisal courses.

For pre-licensing/qualifying education, we can provide as many as 27 credits through a maximum of nine broker qualifying courses. You can enroll in our courses for as many credits as you need.

Sometimes, students require additional broker qualifying credits outside of Key Realty School. We’ve partnered with Hondros College of Business to provide additional college credits for all Nevada applicants.

Certification and testing

A student is required to test through the school website or in person to obtain a course completion certificate. A student must score a 75% or better on the school certificate/completion test to receive a course certificate of education.
