If you meet one of the following criteria, you are exempt from post-licensing requirements and can select continuing education for your first renewal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- You hold a current out-of-state license at the time of initial application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Within the last five years, you’ve held a Nevada real estate license for at least one renewal cycle prior to this renewal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- You’ve submitted two years of experience as a licensee when applying as a broker or broker salesperson.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
If you don’t meet one of these exemptions, you must complete Nevada’s post-licensing requirements for the first renewal period of 12 months.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n <\/article>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

\n\n\n\n\nPost-licensing education is for students completing their first-year education requirements only.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some licensees may be exempt from post-licensing and, instead, are required to complete standard continuing education. This includes but is not limited to licensees who held a license in another state at the time of Nevada license application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students must have a license number to take post-licensing courses. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

\n\n\n\n\nPost-licensing education is offered multiple times per month at Key Realty School<\/strong> (both on-site and via livestream).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This course maintains a student\u2019s understanding of the real estate field and sales process as they move through their first licensure year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Nevada post-licensing course is broken into 10 sessions which include a total of 15 modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
